The School of Business Advising Office is a team-focused work environment with approximately 13 advisors and support staff. Our priority is to provide accurate and effective assistance to students and campus partners in a timely manner. With a student population of approximately 4500 business undergraduates our office is a great fit for those who want to stay engaged year-round in student-centered service and who bring a positive attitude with strong technical skills.

Within the School of Business the Academic Advisor will provide accurate detailed information to students regarding degree progress and completion using in-person or virtual formats. We use a custom-built database system to track and monitor student progress and accurate record-keeping is an essential component of the position. Our office values positive student interactions and timely responses while serving a large student population through traditional academic advising and flipped academic advising formats. Advisors are also a key part of orientation for new students and record-keeping and degree certification processes.

1. Receives processes and responds to academic inquiries according to established policies and procedures.
as a main point of contact for students providing basic organizational information about educational options academic requirements and institutional resources and addressing their needs.

4. Maintains confidentiality and accurate student records according to program policies.
