Sir John Leman Sixth Form is seeking a talented and motivated Head of Football to establish a Post-16 Football Academy and Education Programme.
This post is initially being recruited on a fixed term basis to 31 August 2026.
You will:
- lead and develop a high-performing football academy ages 16-18 boys and girls
- plan deliver and innovate coaching sessions that challenge and inspire
- preferably proven strategic experience in developing and implementing football programmes
- have the ability to design and implement long-term football development plans that enhance player performance progression and support future pathways
- demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students staff and external stakeholders
- ideally a track record in building and maintaining partnerships with community stakeholders/clubs
- preferably have previous football programme employment or experience in overseeing sport projects
- drive the football academys growth and reputation within the local community and beyond.
