The role

We are seeking an Engineer Water Resources who wishes to develop a long-term career with an industry leader working on surface water related projects. You will work closely with our specialists in the Water Resources team predominantly on NSW projects however you will also support the wider ANZ business.

We have a solid pipeline of interesting and challenging projects and an excellent team culture where you will develop broad capabilities and be mentored by industry leaders.

You will have early career experience with the key principles of hydrology flood modelling and/or water resources and assist with;

  • Conducting flood studies and assessments including the impact of flood mitigation options.
  • Water balance modelling hydrologic and hydraulic modelling.
  • Communicating regularly and effectively with other project team members

Suitable applicants will have/be;

  • Bachelors degree in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent
  • Familiar with modelling software including hydrological modelling 2D Tuflow HecRas and Source modelling
  • Experience with 12D or Drains stormwater assessments
  • Well-developed time management skills when provided with task timelines and budgets
  • The ability to write reports and communicate effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
