AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. AWS Data Center Learnings mission is to develop the best data center workforce on Earth. The organization is responsible for providing training certification and career development-based learning pathways to all new and existing data center technicians world-wide. Our team is constantly looking to optimize the training experience and provide our operations teams with a work-ready workforce.

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Sr. Video Production and Learning Content Specialist to lead the development and creation of compelling multimedia learning content that drives operational and cultural excellence across Data Center Communities (DCC). This role combines video production and editing expertise with graphic design and learning design capabilities to create engaging content for operations.

The position focuses on developing professional-grade video content and graphics that builds confidence accelerate learning adoption and shifts mindsets establishing systems and resources that empower Learning Experience Designers (LXDs) to create impactful content. Through effective storytelling and technical accuracy this role will support critical initiatives including Manager Data Center Operations and New Product Introduction Learning Paths and create assets for continuous improvement.

Success in this role requires someone who can balance creative production with technical precision while building collaborative relationships across the organization to harvest and utilize existing resources effectively. The ideal candidate will help transform our learning approach by creating engaging multimedia content that resonates with audiences from frontline technicians to senior leaders fostering a culture of continuous learning throughout our global data center operations.

This is a pivotal role in modernizing our learning strategy and accelerating the adoption of key programs and processes that drive operational excellence and cultural transformation across our organization.

Key job responsibilities
Create engaging multimedia content for operations leadership and culture ensuring top production quality and technical accuracy.

Collaborate with SMEs across technical operations and leadership roles to develop goal-aligned learning materials.

Direct end-to-end video production including planning scripting filming and editing while managing logistics security clearances and facility coordination.

Design and animate graphics to enhance training content while maintaining company branding standards.

Develop and maintain comprehensive production documentation and runbooks to enable independent video creation by Learning Experience Designers.

Establish and manage a centralized multimedia asset library facilitating cross-team resource sharing and collaboration.

Optimize content for multi-platform delivery accessibility and localization while incorporating instructional design best practices.

Monitor performance metrics and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous content improvements while staying current with emerging technologies and learning trends.

Demonstrated mastery of professional video production software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro After Effects Photoshop) and advanced video editing techniques for creating engaging learning content.

Expert knowledge of professional video equipment including DSLR/mirrorless cameras lighting setups and audio recording systems with the ability to maintain and troubleshoot hardware.

Proficiency in digital asset management systems metadata organization and cloud storage solutions to effectively manage and distribute video content across the organization.

Experience with learning management systems e-learning authoring tools and instructional design principles to ensure content meets educational objectives and organizational standards.

Expertise in graphic design motion graphics animation and interactive video techniques to create engaging visual explanations of complex technical and management concepts.

Masters degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology or related field.

Working knowledge of data center operations IT infrastructure and security protocols sufficient to create accurate technical content and maintain compliance while filming.

Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI-powered video editing tools automated captioning systems and smart content management platforms.

Understand adult learning principles and behavioral psychology to create more effective behavioral change-focused content.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $215100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
