Job Title: Material Planner Intern
Location: 5738 County Road 4 Bishop TX 78363
100% onsite
Shift Timings: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Seeking current students or recent grads from Texas A&M - Kingsville or Texas A&M - Corpus Christie locations only.
- Seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our Supply Chain team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management and to contribute to various projects that support our operations.
- The ideal candidate will be eager to learn possess strong analytical skills and have a keen interest in supply chain processes.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or work experience in supply chain or logistics.
- Familiarity with supply chain software and tools.
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the analysis and optimization of supply chain processes.
- Support inventory management and control activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve logistics and distribution strategies.
- Participate in data collection and analysis for supply chain projects.
- Help maintain accurate records of supply chain transactions.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Engage in cross-functional team meetings and initiatives.
