Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the operation and execution of entertainment shows via Show Control. Use of Advanced Control Systems for Lighting Audio Video Lasers and Special Effects.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the operation of the Technical Booth within the assigned venue or event including but not limited to the operation of lighting and audio in a live show situation using systems such as Medialon Ovation Alcorn McBride and others.
- Responsible for the appropriate installation and maintenance of lighting audio video ground rigging staging set up.
- Accountable for assisting in maintaining shows or event specific inventory of all Technical equipment & supplies
- Accountable to strictly adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by the Entertainment Department governing the safe operation of all technical equipment.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:
Operation of the Technical Booth within the assigned venue or event including but not limited to the operation of lighting and audio in a live show situation using systems such as Medialon Ovation Alcorn McBride and others.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Technical school is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- 1-3 years experience using advanced control systems likely within the theme park/theater industry in a technical capacity preferred;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience on advanced show control systems such as Medialon Ovation Alcorn McBride Birket and Allen Bradley preferred.
- Emergency Repairs Parts Assembly and networking preferred.
