Birmingham AL (Tarr) - Retail shopJob Summary: As an Account Manager for Airgas you will be responsible for growing sales within your designated territory through the sale of industrial gases welding supplies safety products and other related items to customers in various industries. You will also be responsible for maintaining existing accounts by providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities:
Grow sales within assigned territory through proactive account management and relationship building
Identify opportunities to increase market share within existing accounts
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing concerns
Ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer needs
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve growth objectives
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product offerings to better serve customers
Utilize CRM system to manage customer relationships and track sales activity
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
Proven success in outside sales experience required; industrial gas and welding supply industry knowledge a plus
Excellent communication skills (verbal written and presentation)
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Technically astute with customer relationship skills
