Job Description
Job Title:Band 7 Inpatient Psychologist
Grade:Band 7
Location: Potters Bar Hertfordshire
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate:Competitive details to be discussed upon application
We are seeking a dedicated Band 7 Inpatient Psychologist to join a private client in Potters Bar Middlesex. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological support to adults in an inpatient setting
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including CBT and DBT-informed approaches
- Support CAMHS patients where appropriate using tailored therapeutic strategies
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- HCPC registration (essential)
- BPS-recognised psychology degree (essential)
- Experience working in adult inpatient mental health settings
- Proficiency in CBT and DBT-informed therapeutic interventions
- Experience working with CAMHS is desirable
- Previous experience in a Band 7 Psychology role
