Job Description
Posting: 1.0 FTE; Full-time Elementary Teacher(s)
Location: Multiple Locations
Start Date: August 25th 2025
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
The Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division is seeking a 1.0 fulltime Elementary Teachers for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
Duties of Elementary School teachers may include but not limited to the following:
- identify students individual and collective learning needs
- plan and deliver instruction based on student learning needs and special needs
- provide a stimulating learning environment in which each student can experience growth and develop to his or her potential
- help students learn appropriate knowledge skills and attitudes.
- meet with parents
- evaluate and communicate student progress
- prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
- meet with other professionals to discuss individual student needs and progress
- volunteer to supervise extracurricular and after-school activities
- attend meetings seminars and in-service training sessions.

What you bring:
- Must be eligible for Alberta Teacher Certification and hold a Bachelor of Education Degree

The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check. FMCSD will contact past and present employers for references. All FMCSD employees are expected to be computer literate; this includes fluency with e-mail Internet and MS Office.
