Job Description

Description
  • Part-time (0.42FTE) fixed term position until October 2026
  • Hours of work: 8am to 4.45pm Monday and Tuesday
  • To commence July 2025

The primary focus of this position is to work collaboratively to deliver the Infant and Toddler Program. This role will develop strong relationships with children their parents and other Teachers and Associates in the Centre. Infant and Toddler Associates must act in a professional manner at all times ensuring all practices are in accordance with the National Quality Standard and reflect the philosophy policies and procedures of the CEEd.

The Infant and Toddler program is for children aged 6 months to 3 years. Each Infant and Toddler room caters for a maximum of eight children with three educators and children are grouped together to meet their developmental needs. Children can be enrolled for between 2 and 5 days per week for 48 weeks per year with care being available from 7.30am to 6.00pm.

Skills And Experiences

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Diploma or Certificate III of Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in the education and care of children aged 6-months to 3 years.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with the implementation a quality education and care program.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to establish warm nurturing and responsive relationships with children and to sensitively meet their needs.
  • An appreciation and understanding of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy Nature Pedagogy and Positive Psychology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to communicate positively and effectively with children parents and professionals.
