Description
Title:Adjunct instructor for MIG Welding I for the fall semester (September December)
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level:
Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.
Summary:
Central Maine Community College seeks an adjunct faculty to teach MIG Welding I. The instructor will utilize a learning management system. This class is scheduled on Tuesdays from 8:00am-4:30pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least five years of industry experience running gas shield MIG
- Knowledge of print reading and basic metallurgy principles
- Non-welding fabrication processes such as sawing fitting material prep grinding and polishing
- Knowledge of standard safety procedures basic hand tools use measuring tools/methods and project-specific mathematics
- This person should possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
