Methods Process Analyst (Associate Experienced Senior Level)

The Industrial Engineering team within Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Methods Process Analysts (Levels 2 3 or 4) to join our growing team located in either Everett Renton Seattle or Auburn Washington USA.

The ideal candidate will have the unique opportunity to design stabilize improve and transform production systems and processes to achieve world class operational excellence for some of the worlds most sophisticated aircraft and systems. Our Methods Process Analysts will focus on production stability implementing lean methodologies assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements as well as improving quality through root cause analysis.

Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing engineering and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter as well as a collaborative team player. Our business units expose you to all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing world allowing you to explore and learn the production build processes from supply chain production readiness through fabrication of raw materials assembly and installation and supporting deliveries to our customers around the world.

Position Descriptions:

  • Conducts analysis of current and future business environment using established guidelines.
  • Develops forecast acquisition and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.
  • Develops and maintains basic Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning.
  • Contributes to the development of labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages.
  • Monitors performance to established labor hour estimates.
  • Assists in the development of integrated tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents tool downtimes rate flow plans #1 flows and tool sequencing plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment material and personnel.
  • Assists in the identification and implementation of improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.
  • Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events.
  • Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost schedule resources and delivery.
  • Develops modifications to existing plans and obtain approval.
  • Participates in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts.
  • Develops implements maintains and statuses complex integrated shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments.
  • Gathers and analyzes shop performance metrics in order to support a recommend plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as: Accounting Finance Business Administration Business Management Data Analytics Marketing Economics or Math
  • 1 or more years of experience working in an engineering manufacturing and/or production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1 or more years of experience working in a team environment.
  • 1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles
  • 1 or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
  • Experience developing metrics to drive results and business improvements.
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Proficient in structured problem solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Strong analytical skills.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Associate Level (Level 2): $66300 - $89700

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $85000 - $115000

Summary pay range for Senior Level (Level 4): $100300 - $135700
