40Summary:
The Nurse Supervisor will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. Nursing care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment. The Nurse Supervisor will deliver care with a team-orientation an emphasis on good customer relations sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. Performs supervisory and administration functions to optimize operations including planning coordinating staffing supervision and enforcing policies. The Nurse Supervisor demonstrates exceptional communication with collaborative team prioritizes work and appropriately deals with stressful situations with flexibility and initiative.
Education:
- BSN Required.
- 2 years Nursing Experience Required.
- 1 year Supervisory or Charge RN Experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS and PALS certification required.
- Certification as necessary in certain areas in the Medical Center.
