Job Description
Summary:
This is a mission-aligned role for a credentialed Education Specialist ready to lead both instruction and compliance for a caseload of K12 scholars. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of high expectations instructional acumen and strong case management skills. What Youll Do:
Develop and deliver inclusive data-informed IEP-aligned instruction
Collaborate with general education teachers on differentiated lesson plans
Track and communicate student performance using daily exit ticket data
Manage IEP compliance timelines documentation and SEIS records
Engage families and stakeholders on progress and goals
Model leadership through team collaboration and campus involvement
Experience Youll Need:
Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate)
At least 2 years experience in K12 special education (urban preferred)
Knowledge of IEP process SEIS and current SPED compliance standards
Experience with behavior intervention strategies and academic accommodations
Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese) a plus
