Job Description
The Centre for Online Learning & Professional Studies at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a Part-time Academic Instructor to teach PSCI 341 - Business and Government in Fall 2025.
Course Number and Title: PSCI 241 - Business and Government
Start and End Dates: August 20 2025 - December 31 2025
Class Schedule: September 3 2025 - December 31 2025
Delivery Mode: Online
Duties
Part-Time Academic Instructor positions involve the normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course including but not limited to preparation and delivery of course content; development administration and marking of assignments tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; and holding regular office hours.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have a PhD or Masters degree with significant experience in the course area. Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience with online teaching platforms are assets.
