We are looking for professional qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position of a Junior IT Systems Administrator to provide daily technical support.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week required in our Oxfordshire office
The scope of responsibilities will include:
- Supervised responsibility for troubleshooting and diagnosing desktop computer systems and peripheral equipment problems
- Supervised responsibility for IT support operations including but not limited to receiving and tracking user requests assigning priority and responsible persons resolving requests and users notification
- Shared responsibility for installation configuration maintenance and upgrades of desktop computer systems and peripherals (e.g. network cards printers modems mice add-in boards copiers etc.)
- Supervised responsibility for asset management of desktop computer systems (hardware and software inventories licensing systems decommissioning etc.)
- Is responsible for documentation of system problems and resolutions
- Assists with providing basic IT training to PSI staff at the discretion of Training & Resourcing
Qualifications :
- College Degree preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 1 years of experience in IT
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) training is a plus
- Related experience in systems and network administration
- Knowledge of basic systems administration tools and processes
- Ability to plan multitask and work in a dynamic team environment
- Advanced communication collaboration and problem-solving skills
