Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Automotive Undercoat Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for applying rustproof undercoating to vehicles protecting them from corrosion road salt and weather-related damage. The ideal candidate has experience working with vehicles is mechanically inclined and has a strong focus on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prep vehicles for undercoating including washing and masking off areas
- Apply undercoating products to the underside of vehicles using sprayers or specialized equipment
- Inspect vehicles before and after treatment to ensure proper coverage and protection
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Safely handle tools and chemicals in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
- Communicate with service advisors or management on work status or any vehicle issues
- Perform light mechanical work when needed (removing wheels panels etc.)
Requirements:
- Previous automotive or detail shop experience preferred but not required we will train the right person!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug screen
