Job Description

2025-2026 Life Skills Facilitator @ Special Education Department

Purpose:

To work directly with Life Skills/TLC staff at the district and campus level to provide training and support to teachers working with low incidence populations. Contribute to students academic functional and behavioral progress and post-secondary goals.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals

Posture: Standing prolonged sitting occasional kneeling/squatting bending/stooping pushing pulling and twisting

Motion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; may also require climbing stairs and reaching over head

Lifting: Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 15 pounds); May require occasional heavy lifting and carrying (15-45 pounds)

Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent district wide travel; all campuses are temperature controlled with hard surface floors

Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress

2025-2026 Salary Range Min. $ 64100

This position will receive a $4000 Behavior stipend Experience: * 3 years or more working with low incidence populations * leadership experience.

Salaries are determined by the number of completed and eligible years of service at an accredited school.
