Job Description
The Section of Pediatric Cardiology at the Yale University School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Childrens Hospital is recruiting a Pediatric Cardiologist Physician Scientist at the Associate Professor level with a particular interest and clinical expertise in pediatric heart and cardiovascular diseases and to augment our translational research portfolio. This candidate should be involved in an active research program dedicated to investigating the molecular causes of diseases of the aorta and aortic valve. This work is translated from the bench to the bedside and back through clinical work with patients and families affected by aortic disease. Outstanding communication collaboration and clinical skills are required. Advanced training in non-invasive imaging is preferred.
This individual will join a division of dedicated faculty and advanced nurse practitioners to provide congenital heart care and cardiovascular imaging for patients throughout the state and region. The Section has an active research program an extensive and growing clinical program an outstanding Cardiology Fellowship Program.
The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Yale Department of Pediatrics in the Clinician-Scientist Track at the academic level commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
