Job Description
Responsibilities:Performs and coordinates assigned landscaping horticulture and grounds keeping activities to include landscaping lawn and plant care pest control irrigation grounds maintenance and related functions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the Universitys mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
- Experience in grounds keeping/ landscaping or participation in school training programs or organizations related to horticulture or landscaping is preferred.
- Texas State Herbicide Pesticide license is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hedge trimmers weed eaters pole saws tillers and blowers.
- Must possess a current and valid Texas drivers license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
- Must agree to the Universitys Employee Statement of Understanding.
