Job Description

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

REGULATORY INVESTIGATIONS STRATEGY ENFORCEMENT (RISE) PRACTICE

Location: Atlanta GA

HYBRID

A premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Regulatory Investigations Strategy Enforcement (RISE) Practice Group in Atlanta. This is an outstanding opportunity for a mid-level litigator or regulatory attorney to work on high-impact matters involving economic development government investigations and regulatory enforcement.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Active Bar Admission in Georgia ingood standing or eligibility to waive in.

  • 46 years of substantive experience in litigation government investigations and/or compliance work.

  • Prior experience with a government agency such as an Attorney Generals office or executive branch is highly preferred.

  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters and deliver strategic counsel.

  • Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment both as a team player and when working autonomously.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional research writing analytical communication and oral advocacy skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on state and federal regulatory investigations administrative litigation and compliance matters.

  • Represent clients in high-profile economic development matters within the state of Georgia.

  • Handle spinoff consumer class litigation and other regulatory-driven disputes.

  • Develop compliance strategies to mitigate enforcement risk and support internal investigations.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to provide comprehensive client solutions.

Compensation & Benefits
