the following information is posted for the attention of clerical staff:
Medicine Hat High School
Class I: Administrative Assistant I - Temporary
( 1 0 month position)
37.5 hours per week
Position to start August 25 2025 until May 12 2026
The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative support performing a variety of duties for the Principal Vice-Principal(s) School Council and School Staff.
Preference will be given to those applicants with the knowledge to:
- previous administrative support experience
- receptionist experience (meeting greeting and directing people answering telephone and giving messages to staff and students)
- create modify or prepare documents such as letters memos handbooks reports forms minutes newsletters etc.
- photocopier and scanning experience
- proficient in using Microsoft Office
- experience in Google Suite
- comfortable troubleshooting basic technology questions (changing passwords)
- an ability to work well with staff and interact positively with students
- ability to prioritize multi-task and meet deadlines
- other related clerical duties
