Salary: c. 40000 - 50000 Benefits

What you will do:

As an Area HR Manager you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective HR solutions that align seamlessly with our organisational goals and people strategy. Working closely with the Managing Director the local senior management team and various teams across the business your insights and expertise will be instrumental in driving performance engagement and meaningful organisational change.

In this role you will:

  • Lead HR delivery and realise strategic plans in partnership with the Senior HR Business Partner/HR Director.
  • Hold primary HR responsibility for the Catnic group of companies including two international offices in Germany and France.
  • Drive improvements in organisational capability by analysing key HR metrics and addressing root cause issues.
  • Provide expert coaching and guidance to management teams enhancing their ability to lead effectively and confidently.
  • Manage talent development processes ensuring clear career progression and capability growth.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives delivering impactful communications and action planning.
  • Champion and facilitate organisational change ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Handle employee relations cases sensitively ensuring fairness and minimal risk.
  • Contribute to wider Tata Steel UK groups projects and initiatives

What you will need:

Were looking for someone who has:

  • Significant experience in HR management with proven expertise in change management organisational development and employee relations.
  • Preferably with Chartered membership of a recognised professional HR body.
  • Exceptional interpersonal negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to build constructive relationships with Trade Unions and navigate complex employee relations confidently.
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering environments is essential with experience in the steel or metals sector being a bonus.
  • Exposure to international operations or cross-border HR practices would be highly desirable.
  • Solid project management and analytical abilities coupled with excellent organisational skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR frameworks reward systems and legal compliance.
