The Glennie School located in Toowoomba Queensland is an Anglican day and boarding school for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding for students from Year 5. About the role:
We are looking for a hard working full-time Tradesperson. Your hours of work will be 7am to 3pm. Reporting to the Facilities Manager the Tradesperson is a vital role in maintaining the Schools facilities and infrastructure to an exceptional standard. This position ensures all areas are fully operational meticulously maintained and consistently uphold the Schools high presentation and operational readiness expectations.
You will:
Perform minor building infrastructure equipment machinery and vehicle maintenance and repairs (including plumbing electrical carpentry painting cleaning and preventative maintenance) ensuring compliance and safety
Manage fuel and approved chemicals safely
Conduct routine maintenance across the entire campus including general handyman tasks
Operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery (tractors etc.)

You are:
Certified in a trade qualification (e.g. electrical plumbing)
Certified with a Contractor licence if applicable
A motivated and reliable individual
A strong team player who can also work autonomously
A good communicator who can interact with staff and colleagues
