Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Aerospace Chief Engineer to lead advanced engineering initiatives in the design operation and support of aerospace mechanical and electromechanical products. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for managing projects from concept through execution ensuring both technical excellence and regulatory compliance.

As a key member of our engineering team you will provide expert guidance on complex system designs including aircraft exhaust heat transfer equipment and aerospace tooling while mentoring engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings FAA Part 145 expertise strong leadership capabilities and hands-on experience in aerospace design and testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning design and execution of aerospace engineering projects.

  • Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 and other relevant regulatory standards.

  • Oversee fabrication testing repair and integration of aerospace components.

  • Design critical systems and tooling including heat transfer devices and aircraft exhaust.

  • Use 3D modeling tools (SolidWorks preferred) to develop and review engineering designs.

  • Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams and collaborate across departments.

  • Interface directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (required).

  • 5 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in aerospace.

  • Demonstrated compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations.

  • 3D CAD modeling expertise (SolidWorks preferred).

  • Leadership experience (Engineering Supervisor or higher).

  • Direct client-facing engineering experience.

  • Working knowledge of brazing metrology and telemetry.
