Do you want to join a team of talented software engineers who are helping to revolutionize mobility to the cloud for their customers AWS is seeking an exceptional developer to work on the challenging problem of accelerating our customers journey from on-premises computing to running their businesses on AWS.
As a senior software developer on the Transform for VMware team you will be leading the development of an agentic AI based solution that helps large enterprise companies migrate their computing to AWS. Delivering a reliable and high-performance service at AWS scale requires engineers with extraordinary technical expertise and boundless creativity. At Amazon we also expect engineers like you to interact with customers to understand our business goals and to innovate rapidly delivering high-quality and ground-breaking functionality.

Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for the overall design and development of our agentic AI solution for the migration of customers VMware environments into AWS and acting in a lead role in the review of other designs.
- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
