Job Description
Company Overview:
As one of the top low voltage contractors in Southern California we specialize in delivering high-quality commercial AV solutions across a wide range of industries. Our team is known for technical expertise reliability and a commitment to exceeding client expectations. We are currently looking for a talented Audio Video Engineer / Estimator to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
This role is critical in designing AV systems preparing accurate project estimates and supporting both pre-sales and field operations. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of commercial AV systems (Crestron Extron etc.) excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering premium solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Design

Design AV systems for conference rooms classrooms and other commercial environments

Create system schematics signal flow diagrams and riser documentation

Select and specify compatible AV components based on performance and budget
Estimating & Proposal Development

Prepare accurate labor material and equipment estimates

Draft clear scopes of work and support proposal development

Collaborate with sales project management and vendor teams
Technical Expertise & Support

Configure and support Crestron and Extron control systems

Conduct site walks evaluate infrastructure and provide technical documentation to field teams

Assist in resolving field issues related to AV design or functionality
Preferred Qualifications:
-
3 years in AV system engineering and/or estimating

Experience with D-Tools or similar AV design software
-
Strong grasp of AV networking and control system integration
-
CTS or equivalent certification preferred
