JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to provide technology support in our transition to Cloud ERP and EPM systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering data conversions and ERP migrations. This role involves technical partnership across business technology teams and vendor partners to drive seamless transition manage data migrations and system configurations including resolving technical issues as part of the process. This role is expected to have deep functional expertise in finance functions and work in close collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure target systems and associated processes meet their needs for accounting planning budgeting and forecasting in a cloud environment. This role will continue to support existing Finance applications until the full transition to the new cloud solution is complete.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
7 years of progressive professional experience in information technology application development and support including:
o5 years of hands-on experience with engineering solutions within PeopleSoft and/or Hyperion.
o5 years of hands-on experience managing ERP modules like General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Fixed Assets acting as a functional SME.
Deep knowledge of financial processes and performance management.
Experience with writing queries to extract data and prepare migration content.
Solid understanding of ETL and data migration techniques.
Experience with cloud environments like OCI AWS etc.
Strong knowledge of networking identity access management (SSO SAML LDAP) and security best practices.
Proficient in scripting automation tools and CI/CD frameworks.
Ability to listen and understand business requirements ask questions and translate the requirements into design documents.
Ability to elicit organize and document detailed and comprehensive functional system configuration requirements.
Experience developing test plans test scripts and managing unit system regression and user acceptance testing.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in ERP and EPM and follow through to resolution.
Ability to work independently identifying and driving required tasks to completion in a timely manner.
Proven ability to support all aspects of large complex applications with multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple support request while working on time sensitive projects and upgrades.
Experience in waterfall and/or agile software methodologies.
Vendor management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
6 years domain experience relevant to supported business function; industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
Understanding of financial and accounting processes including cyclical events like month end close quarter close etc.
Understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting processes.
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) and Oracle Security Console.
Experience with change management and enterprise architecture frameworks
Technology leadership experience in a sourced or internally managed environment.
Experience in agile software methodologies and DevOps practices.
Experience with SOX processes and IT General Controls.
Demonstrated ability to anticipate future integration platform opportunities.
Core Work Activities
Serve as technical lead for systems engineering aspects of data conversion and ongoing support as part of the journey to cloud
Serve as subject matter expert for finances use of Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable General Ledger Fixed Assets Contract Management Owner Franchise Billing Programs and Services.
Lead technical design development configuration deployment and support of Cloud ERP and EPM solutions.
Coordinate data extraction and transformation processes from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud ERP.
Design and implement transformation scripts/processes for cleansing formatting and enriching data.
Build data load templates and work with Oracles FBDI ADFDI and Web Services for data import.
Support validation efforts for comparing legacy data to converted Oracle Cloud records and generate reconciliation reports.
Assist with multiple conversions cycles for mock and production loads troubleshoot and resolve data-related errors.
Manage and monitor prod and non-prod environments ensuring compliance with security and performance standards.
Collaborate with infrastructure security enterprise architecture and broader corporate systems teams on SSO architecture and security reviews and infrastructure management.
Support CI/CD pipelines and test automation for ERP related changes and deployments.
Serve as technical liaison across teams including MI service providers and vendors.
Provide technical guidance for cutover planning go-live readiness and post go-live support.
Document system configurations processes and support procedures for ongoing operations.
Create and maintain documentation on mapping processes data quality issues and resolution steps.
Continue to support PeopleSoft until Cloud ERP and EPM are live with all modules and locations.
Technical Leadership
Make technical decisions and provide guidance on best practices.
Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders in discovery and definition of requirements.
Ensure the quality and timely delivery of product features.
Provide technology strategy feedback where appropriate
Participate in the evaluation and selection of Corporate Systems products and services
Provides financial input on department or project budgets capital expenditures or other cost/resource estimates as requested
Apply knowledge/judgment to achieve business goals.
Foresee identify and resolve problems.
Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to job.
Perform other reasonable duties as required for this position.
The salary range for this position is $98500 to $174900 annually. In addition to the annual salary the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
