To drive profitable growth and value creation for the brand and improve inventory productivity
Adequate merchandize availability at the right time and in the right quantity to satisfy consumer needs which will help achieve better ROI for the brand.
Complexity of merchandise requirements of various channels needs to be managed.
Product innovation and improvements by partnering with the world class facilities and internal resources
To gear up for the emerging competition from growing international brands
Establishing best in class design and merchandise process across existing and new revenue streams pressure on the system. MG is still not geared for shorter runs & complicated styles as we are used to basic styles and all factories are mass production lines.
Product Management This is yet another challenge. With new brands there is no past data on sell-thru analysis; hence most product decisions are test & trial. Above this things gets more complicated since new initiatives are more fashion forward where trends change quickly managing the product width & production minimums is another big task.
RM & Inventory management The fabric minimums & production minimums is big hurdle in RM & Inventory management. Lack of minimums due to lesser distribution forces the brand to order fabrics which leads to RM generation.
Retail Selex & managing retail PE being a retail brand the pressure on SSDP & Selex is very high. New brands take time to scale up business volumes.
Sales & Distribution - Being the smaller sub brands there are lots of advantage but also there are some constraints. One of the major constraints is pressure on tight margins & strict distribution policies. This becomes hurdle in faster expansion.
Finance Accountable for overall revenue and profitability of business Enhance supply chain systems to improve sell through to maximize inventory turns Drive business diversification through identifying and building new revenue streams for future
Consumer To ensure that consumer concerns are attended to with alacrity and that systems are bolstered to make service levels stronger To enhance the consumer Happiness Index Work closely with retail and other channels and understand their requirements and manage product range to fulfil the same
Process Establishing best in class design and merchandise process across existing and new revenue streams To conduct trade show effectively with the intent to maximize business in sustainable manner keeping business partners and customers interest Effective IGTM plan and launch Making product file every month(Covering Monthly financial progress Quality complaints in PPM Inventory analysis for RM and FG monthly sell through Competitive sales/market gap analysis) Continuous production improvement and product innovation by partnering with world class facilities to develop innovative material
Team Management To define and Nurture the Madura Culture High employee satisfaction score on Vibes Set goals and identify skill gaps of the team Resolve conflicts if any among the various interfaces Coaching and mentoring of team members Team motivation
