Job Description

Job Title: Hotel Systems Specialist
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Time Zone Requirement: 4 5 hours/day overlap with Hawaii time zone during training; flexible afterward


About the Role

We re seeking a Hotel Systems Specialist with hands-on experience in hotel technology platforms and a passion for operational accuracy. This is a task-driven -focused role where youll play a key part in supporting revenue management and distribution teams by maintaining system integrity and optimizing performance.

This is not a theoretical or high-level strategy role it s ideal for someone who thrives on hands-on configuration troubleshooting and platform management. If you re highly familiar with tools like Synxis SiteMinder StayNTouch Opera Cloud or RoomMaster Cloud and enjoy solving real problems inside real systems we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute configuration changes and system updates across multiple hotel platforms.

  • Ensure data accuracy and system performance through routine audits and troubleshooting.

  • Manage requests through a task/ticket system with timeliness and accountability.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business needs and deliver precise solutions.

  • Identify and suggest improvements to system workflows or automations.

  • Take ownership of ongoing tasks and grow into larger responsibilities as the role evolves.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience with at least 2 3 of the following systems (more is a plus):

    • Synxis

    • SiteMinder

    • StayNTouch

    • Opera Cloud

    • RoomMaster Cloud

  • Background in hotel operations preferably in roles like Distribution Specialist Revenue Analyst or Systems Coordinator.

  • Strong technical aptitude and curiosity about how systems work behind the scenes.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks independently and follow through to completion.

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote-first environment.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

  • Bonus: Familiarity with revenue management concepts (not required).


Work Schedule

  • Training Phase: Must be available for 4 5 hours/day of overlap with Hawaii time zone.

  • Post-Training: Flexible schedule as long as tasks are completed on time and communication remains prompt.
