Barista

Imperial Moto in Oakland Park FL is looking for one barista to join our team. We are located on 2091 E Oakland Park Blvd. Our ideal candidate is attentive ambitious and hard-working.

An Imperial Cafe barista has customer service as a priority but is responsible for generating an excellent welcoming climate for the work team and their coworkers. We always focus on delivering high-quality coffee and food to our customers and answering their questions about our products. One of the responsibilities of the barista is:

Responsibilities:

Welcoming customers informing them about specials or new items answering questions and accepting orders and payments.

Calibrate the coffee and test it before starting to use the machine.

Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas emptying trash and sanitizing and washing equipment and utensils (Coffee machine).

Learn about brewing methods beverage blends food preparation and presentation techniques to improve food quality.

In charge of the coffee machine.

Be aware of music.

Work as part of a fun high-energy team.

Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a barista
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the coffee industry and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Availability to work around peak hours early mornings weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
