Salary/Pay Range:$8741-$11278 annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is non-exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.
Work Location: On-Site.
Because this appointment less than 50% you will not be eligible to receive all of the benefits normally provided to members of the university staff under the standard University of Colorado benefits programs. You are not eligible to receive paid vacation leave medical or retirement benefits. However you are eligible to accrue sick leave and you will accrue 0.034 hours of sick leave per hour worked.
Summary
The University of Colorado Colorado Springs is seeking to hire a quarter-time (approximately 10 hours/week) Repository Manager for their Seyhan Dwelis Archaeological Repository housed in the Department of Anthropology. The repository manager is responsible for maintaining the overall organization maintenance operation and function of the repository. Duties include processing cataloging and analyzing artifacts preparing artifacts and records for permanent curation in accordance with state and federal laws updating and maintaining database records assisting with writing portions of archaeological reports facilitating NAGPRA requests supervising student employees and coordinating with department archaeologists on projects and curation needs. In addition the repository is a federal and state approved repository so additional duties include working with federal and state entities on accessing accepting processing and maintaining incoming collections according to federal or state laws.
