Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST M-F
Location: This is an on-site role located in Fort Lauderdale Beach to work with our client Marriot Corporate. The role requires traveling within a one-mile radius of three Fort Lauderdale Beach properties (Harbor Beach Marriot W Fort Lauderdale Beach Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale Beach).
Job Profile Summary
Responsible for planning developing implementing and evaluating health education programs which are based on behavioral objectives with defined measurable outcomes. Responsible for providing quality services and programs to meet identified needs of targeted populations of different learning abilities. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of national preventive health issues and strategies in order to function as a resource in the areas of preventive health health maintenance and health promotion.
Education:
Master Level Degree Health Education Nursing or Related Field REQUIRED
Experience:
Management- Previous Experience
Business Acumen- Previous Experience
Health Education Programs- 5 years
Bilingual English/Creole and/or English/ Spanish preferred
Certification:
Cert Health Education Specialist (CHES) or other health education based certification through the National Wellness Institute Wellness Councils of America Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nurse (RN)
