Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for care of patient in operating room. Provides and ensures safe and therapeutically effective patient care. Maintains work area. Responsible for preparing assembling and maintenance of operating room instrumentation and equipment. Responsible for scrubbing a wide variety of surgical cases.
Education and Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent ( GED) required.
Licensures/ Certifications:
- Current American Heart Associations BLS/CPR certification card on hire.
- Must be willing to obtain Washington State surgical tech license within 6 months of hire.
Experience:
- Medical background/previous hospital experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail
- Computer proficiency
- Able to work well both individually and in a team
