What youll be responsible for:
Circle is seeking a Senior Analyst Policy and regulatory strategy EMEA to play a critical role in shaping our regulatory strategy across Europe the Middle East and Africa. Youll be at the forefront of policy and regulatory developments in key growth markets helping Circle navigate complex environments and scale our global footprint.
Youll drive in-depth regulatory and market analysis and engagement that will contribute to cross-functional internal workstreams and to the development of the Circle approach towards these EMEA markets. Successful candidates thrive in complexity and a dynamically changing environment and will be eager to learn grow and work dynamically across teams contributing directly to Circles success in the region.
What youll work on:
Track analyze and synthesize evolving regulatory and legislative developments across EMEA (including EU UK MENA and SSA) that impact Circles business.
Lead and draft consultation responses position papers and thought leadership on stablecoins and crypto-assets.
Shape proactive policy strategies to advance Circles priorities and mitigate risks.
Support and drive bilateral and multilateral engagements with industry experts regulators and policymakers.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives (e.g. product or market strategy workstreams) aimed at driving growth and compliance in new markets.
Develop internal and external-facing documentation including memos factsheets briefings and presentation materials.
Support operational excellence by helping to manage key policy processes tools and systems.
What youll bring to Circle:
4 years of experience in financial services public policy regulatory affairs or legal/economics rolesideally with exposure to crypto-assets or fintech.
Strong knowledge and genuine interest in stablecoins crypto-assets and financial innovation.
Proven analytical skills with the ability to connect dots across policy business and technology domains.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsable to translate complex ideas for different audiences.
A proactive hands-on approach and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
Comfort working in a fast-paced high-growth environment with lots of ambiguity.
Curiosity agility and a growth mindsetyoure excited to learn and build.
Proficiency with Slack MacOS and Google Workspace tools.
A degree in public policy law economics finance or a related field.
