Role: Secondary Maths Teacher
Hourly Rate: 140 - 210
Location: Pickering
We are working with a well-regarded inclusive school in Pickering that is committed to helping every learner thrive. The school promotes a calm and purposeful learning environment where pupils are supported to develop confidence and independence.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to support pupils within the classroom. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact on young peoples lives.
The successful candidate will bring subject knowledge flexibility and a nurturing approach. While experience is beneficial a proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills are equally valued.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
Supporting pupils progress and development within the subject
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues to support learning outcomes
This is a full-time role starting in September for a minimum of the first term with the potential to become ongoing for the right person. A supportive team and professional development opportunities are available within the school.
