Meditation: Theory and Practice

Study of the human capacity for self-awareness and first-hand experience in their own lives. Explorations of contemplative states of mind from diverse disciplinary and theoretical perspectives. Complemented by weekly first-person exercises (Meditation Lab). Critical appraisal of mindfulness practices based on their own experience.

Requirements:

Experience of successful teaching in meditation theory and practice. Preference will be given to an instructor whose own research is within or closely related to the field of meditation and contemplative studies who has relevant scholarly researchand publications and who has a training in meditation/mindfulness practice.
Teaching mode: In person.
