Service Route Operator
Location: OFallon MO Full-time $22.88 per hour Application Deadline: June 22
Are you looking for a hands-on role that keeps the community clean and running efficiently Were hiring a Service Route Operator to assist in the collection of refuse recyclables and yard waste along established routes. Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Operate refuse collection trucks to collect solid waste recyclables yard debris and bulk waste.
- Clean deliver and assemble refuse and recycling containers.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with snow removal operations when needed.
- Follow all city and departmental safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: At least 1-2 years in a similar role or completion of an apprenticeship/internship.
License: Must have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL with airbrakes issued by the State of Missouri.
Skills: Strong understanding of solid waste collection operations vehicle maintenance and city geography.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
