POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist lab staff in curating papers performing in silico analysis to understand pathology gene function gene networks important in modulating retinal degeneration. Perform basic molecular biology lab experiments organize lab notebooks organize lab reagents basic animal husbandry and approved procedures

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

PCR IHC animal husbandry

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program of study. Good understanding of basic science concepts how to use PubMed and other online tools

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Lab setting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possible lifting of 10 to 20 lbs. depending on nature of chosen project(s).
