Job Description:Combining the efforts of employee relations and maintaining the established agency brand. This position is on onsite/in person role that manages aspects of employee on-boarding to streamline the hiring process for new employees. Provides service on visual maintenance of web resources such as Hudson Milestones website Facebook and all media suitable for advertisement while seeking potential candidates for recruitment. Accomplishes development in media displays hiring methods and maintaining personnel files. This job title is an exempt position as specified in NJAC 12:56-7.2. This position customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more employees; and whose suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring and firing and as to the advancement and promotion or any other change of status of other employees will be given particular weight; and customarily and regularly exercises discretionary powers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for facilitating effective communication in a businesslike and courteous manner in all aspects of the position.
Adheres to on-boarding protocols and expectations
. Manages and reviews all reports forms schedules ads postings as well as other documentation regarding marketing and recruiting. Ensure all documents are appropriate to be shared accordingly.
Serves as the support to the Department Directors for recruitment employee relations matters and responsibility for the keeping of personnel-related files.
Provides guidance assistance and information to other agency staff as necessary. Acts as a liaison between Department Directors Management and prospective employees
. Screens applications and applicants and approves their ability to fulfill position description arranges and conducts interviews for various positions.
Completes phone screens for all applicants and coordinates and schedules interviews for all applicants with the hiring manager/Department Director
. Research job fairs for the agency to attend and organize and facilitate Agency on site hiring events.
Attends and is the lead at all job fairs and hiring events
. Obtains all required interview documents such as resume application drivers license and scenario sheet if applicable to each position provided to interviewing parties.
Ensures references and abstract are obtained accordingly for recommended hires to include a supervisor and one coworker.
Ensuring removal of outdated advertisements once position has been filled.
Schedules and facilitates all Agency orientations/pre-hire training courses this is managed and conducted in person and works collaboratively with Human Resources.
Follows up on completion of State and Agency CDS course requirements medication assessments Preventing Abuse Neglect & Exploitation Agency Competency Assessments reading lists and client assessments; if applicable are managed by Human Resources.
Ensures all pre-hire clearances are met and obtained accordingly. Meets with the Residential Department by group home and with the Director and Assistant Director to review vacancies monthly.

$50000-$55000
