Job Description
The University of Washington School of Dentistry invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track position at the Associate or full Professor rank in the Department of Orthodontics. The position is full-time with a 12-month service period. The anticipated start date is no later than July 1 2026. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching research/scholarship and service.
The base salary range for this position will be $15000 - $17500 per month commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation associated with this position may include: an administrative supplement; moving expenses; relocation incentive pay; and faculty practice activity. The successful candidate must have completed a DDS/DMD program (or foreign equivalent) and a CODA-accredited graduate orthodontics program. They will have at least four years of teaching experience at the predoctoral and/or graduate level. The applicant should have a strong record of research and scholarly activity prior administrative appointments and a history of leadership/service at the regional and national level. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics.
