THE ROLE
The Community Support Worker - Home Care provides in-home care services to aged individuals who require support to live independently and their carers.
- Provide support for clients in activities of daily living to promote autonomy wellness and enablement goals.
- Support carers by providing meaningful and enjoyable experiences to a client that meet the needs of the client as documented in the Care Plan.
- Apply the Consumer Directed Care and wellness and reablement approaches.
Salary will bein the range of $60867.56 to $65000 plus 25% casual loading based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it were looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent or working towards obtaining this
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with and engage individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to maintaining and supporting child safety equity inclusion and cultural safety.
- Client-centered approach
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood of St Laurence
