Job Description
Johnstown Monroe Local Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time High School ELA Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.The primary focus of this position will be 9th grade ELA.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Ohio (grades 7-12) ELA Teaching License
- Experience in meeting the needs of students of all abilities
- Positive experience collaborating with building principals instructional staff district administrators and public
- Knowledgeable in Social Emotional Learning/Mental Health Supports for students
- Knowledgeable in Ohios Learning Standards for English/Language Arts
- Knowledgeable in progress monitoring tools
- Experience in data collection
- Skilled in the use of computer technology
- Ability to maintain effective professional relationships with students staff and parents
- Possess effective classroom management skills
- Self-Motivated
- Organized
