Job Description
Physical Therapist
At Special School District (SSD) physical therapists support students of all learning abilities by helping them develop the skills they need to access their education and daily routines. Through tailored interventions and a collaborative approach you will help students build strength confidence and independence.
As a physical therapist you will assess individual needs and design programs that promote safety mobility and participation. Working closely with educators you will ensure that each student receives the support they need to participate fully and successfully in their education and daily life. Your care and expertise will help remove barriers open opportunities for growth and help them excel to their greatest potential.
Physical therapists work during school hours are generously compensated and receive benefits including insurance paid time off and holidays access to staff health clinics and more. They are assigned to students not locations and regular travel is required between buildings and districts within St. Louis County.

Salary
- $49000 - $83250/year based on education and experience
Calendar
