Title: Instructional Technologist II (Biology Lab)
Salary Range: $3490 - $4363 per month
Contract Term Length:12 Months
Standard Hours:37.5

Job Summary
Coordinates biology-related laboratories and assures safety procedures are followed.
Job Duties:
1. Coordinates faculty and students in a science-related lab environment.
2. Provides individual and group instruction on lab-related programs.
3. Maintains supplies and sets up materials and equipment for biology anatomy physiology and microbiology labs.
4. Coordinates and maintains laboratory computer equipment.
5. Recommends the purchase of lab equipment.
6. Operates cleans and calibrates lab equipment/instruments as needed.
7. Stores properly labels and oversees the disposal of all campus-generated hazardous materials.
8. Orders and maintains all laboratory supplies and reagents. Maintains SDS sheets for all laboratory reagents according to state and federal guidelines.
9. Serves as lab instructor supervising student performance and providing input to faculty regarding student program progress.
10. Serves as contact for adjunct faculty for questions concerning lab experiments; uploads lab schedules and other documentation necessary for the laboratory courses on Blackboard when needed.
11. Any other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (in Biology-related field) and two year of related lab experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
FOUR YEAR OF RELATED LAB EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT
