SUMMER TRANSITIONAL PROGRAMS INSTRUCTOR- TEAM LEADER
Casual Worker
EOP- Summer Bridge

Salary Range: $16.50 - $140.00/Hourly(Budgeted Hiring Salary Range: $30/Hourly)

Work Schedule: Hours to be arranged; temporary appointment ends on/or before August 15 2025; non-exempt classification.

Essential Functions: In addition to performing the duties assigned to Summer Program Instructor the Team Leader to EOPs Summer/Transfer Bridge Summer Workshop and Learning Community students the incumbent will lead instructional teams that will facilitate curriculum in one or more of the following subject areas: Reading Writing Summer Bridge (SB) Seminar Math Kinesiology Library Science Communication Studies History Social Justice Pan-African Studies (PAS) and/or Chicana(o) and Latina(o) Studies to Bridge students. The incumbent will develop and supervise the curriculum and instruction for EOPs Summer/Transfer Bridge Summer Workshop and Learning Community courses for EOP students; which will include the development of syllabi that clearly outlines course requirements rationale goals and objectives. Additionally the incumbent will develop and facilitate the training of the instructional team in the preparation of class sessions and assignments to help students grasp course content and how it integrates with overall student learning outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:Masters degree in an appropriate field of study (Social Sciences Arts & Letters Natural Science or Education). Strong background in the field they will be teaching; demonstrate clear and verbal communication skills. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the California State University. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current California State University employees who may apply for the position.
