Job Description
Summary
A small community-focused public school in northern New Hampshire is seeking a passionate and versatile early childhood educator to lead a combined PreK/K classroom. What Youll Do
- Lead instruction in a blended PreK and Kindergarten classroom with engaging developmentally appropriate lessons
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment that supports social emotional and academic growth
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of developmental levels
- Partner with special educators paraprofessionals and school staff to support individual student needs
- Build strong relationships with families and communicate regularly on student progress
- Create hands-on inquiry-based learning experiences that integrate play and foundational academic skills
- Track student growth and adapt teaching strategies based on classroom data
Experience Youll Need
- ValidNH teaching certificationin Early Childhood (birthgrade 3) or Elementary Education (K8)or eligibility to obtain certification through reciprocity or an approved alternative pathway (Alt 4/5)
- Experience managing a classroom with varied age ranges and learning needs
- Knowledge of NH early learning standards and child-centered instructional approaches
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Comfort working in a collaborative multi-age learning environment
