Essential Job Functions:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities particularly within the industrial distribution space.
- Build relationships with distributor contacts and purchasing agents to drive volume sales of standard shim products and custom solutions.
- Utilize CRM tools (preferably HubSpot) to manage leads track sales activity and monitor pipeline health.
- Conduct regular cold calls outreach campaigns and sales meetings to initiate new customer conversations.
- Leverage internal resources including engineering inside sales and production to develop a clear understanding of Maudlins offerings and capabilities.
- Accurately represent MMCs product lines and technical solutions to potential customers in a variety of industries.
- Collaborate with the broader commercial team to share insights align strategies and improve targeting.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to quoting to closing deals on new business.
Education and Experience:
- Entry level but some exposure or sales experience in an industrial environment is ideal preferably with a manufacturer or distributor.
- Degree in Industrial Distribution Business Engineering or related field strongly preferred.
- Sales Internships or any experiencing cold calling lead generation and outbound prospecting preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems required; HubSpot a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to explain technical product features and benefits.
- Self-motivated organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience selling to distributors or OEMs is highly desirable.
