Title: Admissions Specialist-Front Desk

Salary Range: $34500.00 annually

Contract Term Length:12 Months

Standard Hours:37.50

Work Location:Hybrid

Job Summary

The Admissions Department of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for an Admissions Specialist-Front Desk position.

Job Duties:

Duties Include:
Serve as the first point of contact for the Admissions Office and Jefferson by assisting incoming traffic in a friendly manner and providing exceptional customer service.
Disseminate information to students staff and faculty concerning admissions policies and procedures.
Assist in departmental communication including e-mails telephone inquiries and face-to-face interactions.
Manage front desk walk-in and waiting area in an organized fashion and assist with ordering marketing materials for replenishment as needed.
Process student documents including high school transcripts visiting student letters and any additional paperwork for the office.
Scan file and process admissions documents into Onbase as needed.
Assist the Admissions team with special events and express enrollment as needed.
Other duties to support the department may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years related professional experience or equivalent are required. Preference will be given to individuals with knowledge of customer service techniques and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree and five years related professional experience. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.

Additional Skills Requested:

Physical Requirements:
Occasional and /or light lifting limited exposure to disagreeable environmental elements (heat cold dirt chemicals etc.)
