Special Security Technician
Rigid Tactical is seeking a dedicated Special Security Technician to manage access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) at MacDill AFB in Tampa FL. In this critical role youll provide essential security escort services for custodial and uncleared personnel within Combatant J2 offices and facilities. This is a full-time W2 position with no deployment required.
Please note: This role requires working the third shift Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and continuously from Saturday 6:00 AM to Monday 6:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Control and monitor access to SCI and SCIFs by providing security escort support for custodial and uncleared workers.
- Perform Facility Monitor Special Security Technician duties identifying and reporting any facility system malfunctions or issues.
- Escort uncleared personnel as needed.
- Complete a Facility Inspection Checklist and submit a Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) inspection report email to leadership after each shift.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Masters degree.
- At least 17 years of overall experience.
- 12 years of operational experience supporting a combatant command.
- DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
